Morales Group Supports Spirit of the Season

At this special time of year everyone at the Morales Group is happy to lend a hand to two organizations that provide services to the Indianapolis area Hispanic community.

Contributing Food, Toys and Services
"Santa Comes To Town" is being put on for its ninth year by the Latino Community Development Corporation, which was formed to help less fortunate Latinos transition into the local Indianapolis community. This annual event offers food, toys and basic medical services to over 1400 individuals and distributes toys to 5000 children. This year’s event was held on December 17 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. To learn more visit Latino Community Development Corporation.

Christmas Gift Drive for Eastside Families
Morales Group President and CEO Tom Morales has recently been asked to serve as an advisor on Latino Affairs at the Shepherd Community Center. During the holiday season this organization holds its Christmas Gift Drive which collects toys, gift items, clothing and monetary donations. On December 21 and 22 eastside Indianapolis neighborhood parents will be able to pick out presents for over 800 children from Shepherd’s Christmas Gift Shop. In addition 100 families identified by the Morales Group received complete Holiday Food Baskets as part of this initiative.
