The On-boarding Specialist position serves as the primary contact, through the duration of the application and interview scheduling process, for both MGI and Prima candidates at all branch locations.  The incumbent will be required to work in conjunction with Operations in order to ensure resource availability as dictated by client needs.  Development of relationships throughout the organization is necessary to ensure that an individual is able to facilitate a smooth application/on-boarding process that will provide both acceptable candidates as well as valuable insights.  Understanding of the staffing industry’s peaks and valleys and the ability to proactively develop strategic plans will prove highly valuable in this role. In order to be successful in this position an individual should be: detail oriented, able to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers and have the ability to understand and interpret organizational goals in conjunction with the position’s primary goals.

Qualifications:

  • EducationExperience:
    • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of two years (2yrs) of related experience in a fast-paced temporary staffing or customer service environment
  • Language Needs:
    • Bilingual – English/Spanish, both written and verbal
  • Computer Software Experience:
    • Experienced with MS Office, minimum of intermediate level

    • Maintain good communication/working relationships with all departments within the organization
    • Report all hazardous conditions/equipment to his/her manager immediately

    • Work is performed in an office related environment and may involve limited travel to branch locations
    • Stays abreast of federal regulations for wage/labor laws, follows “Department of Labor Laws” for Federal/State specifics

    • Primary facilitator of interviews via strategic scheduling of internal/external resources
    • Obtain job seeker electronic information daily and verify completion of application information; verifying and clarifying information; pre-screening of applicants; explaining hiring policies
    • Maintain Recruiter and CSR interview calendars
    • Production of daily reports and provision of analytical feedback
    • Tracking of employee file status to determine appropriate activity
    • Verification of database information and period cleanup and maintenance
    • Publish all client orders with complete job description to MGI website and limited orders to external electronic sources
    • Ensure accurate documentation of all employee and client records in company ATS and Smart Search
    • Respond flexibly, and with a sense of urgency, to changing client needs

    • Identify recruiting needs and collaborate with recruiting, sales and marketing teams to ensure appropriate applicant traffic
