Logistics Administrative Assistant in Anderson, In.

Responsibilities of Logistics Administrative Assistant:

  • Process and maintain orders in SAP as requested
  • Communicate with warehouse data required for physical order shipments
  • Communicate with customers via website, email, or telephone in order to provide information about products, to process or cancel orders, and request routing
  • Verify warehouse actions are accurate and timely
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions, are taken
  • Resolve customers’ service complaints by performing activities such as tracking order shipments, processing return authorizations, etc
  • Check to ensure that appropriate item/procedural changes were made to resolve customers’ problems
  • Contact customers in order to respond to inquiries or to notify them of new and/or updated information in regards to their inquiry
  • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
  • Recommend improvements in products, packaging, shipping, service, or billing methods and procedures in order to prevent future problems

Requirements of Logistics Administrative Assistant:

  • Applicable experience with Microsoft Windows operating system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) – Strong knowledge of Excel (formatting, formulas, etc.) is required
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Customer Friendly Attitude
  • Takes independent initiative to complete projects with a sense of urgency
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and accuracy levels required
  • Advanced skills with internet use (Internet Shopping, Web Surfing)

Shift Hours:

  • Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4 pm

$14.00 /hour
