Payroll Administrator summary:

Responsible for checking accuracy and approving clients Web Center timecards through Temp works Enterprise system. With a final audit on approved timecards before payroll is processes as well as other audits before payroll is processed. Responsible for updating employee records with all Operations payroll deductions request. Weekly audit on withheld employee adjustments. Prepare employee overpayment documentation and maintain employee overpayments. Process interrogatories for garnishments. Support to the Payroll Team whenever it is needed. Respond to payroll related questions and concerns in a timely manner as well in a respectful manner. Other duties to support the Payroll, Finance and HR functions as required.

Payroll Administrator responsibilities:

  • Receive timecards in various forms from a large client base
  • Electronic and phone communication with those clients when questions arise
  • Work directly with Account Managers ensuring accuracy of time and system integrity
  • Work directly with Payroll Department when submitting and processing timecards
  • Meet all payroll deadlines weekly
  • Find efficiencies within the payroll process and execute changes as needed
  • Establish and maintain employee/payroll records
  • Checking and auditing records for compliance with established standards, maintaining time and attendance records, posting changes in pay and tax status, and miscellaneous changes
  • Responsible for time and attendance review
  • Process pay adjustments
  • Process and maintain overpayments as the result of payroll errors
  • Weekly audit of withheld employee adjustments
  • Garnishment processing and updating employee profile
  • Support for the Payroll Department
  • Respond to payroll related questions and concerns in a timely manner
  • Other duties to support Payroll, Accounting and HR functions as required

Payroll Administrator requirements:

  • Ability to speak,read, and write in English at a level appropriate for the job and communicate effectively
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish and or other languages is a plus
  • Ability to be accurate, concise, and detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of Department of Labor Laws both Federal/State specific preferred
  • High School and Higher Education preferred
