Quality Manager in Seymour, IN

Responsibilities of Quality Manager:

  • Manage project quality
  • Ensure that quality roadmap is defined and followed during the project life time
  • Validate quality deliverables for each project milestones
  • Ensure customers are submitted and validated on time and avoid red launch.
  • Validate quality planning level 2 to achieve deliverable in line with project milestones/phases
  • Validate quality cost definition and ensure targets are achieved in his/her perimeter
  • Ensure CIP and CPM are respected
  • Respect of Build In Quality Standards: validate the generic SPPC lists for each product line, ensure that the SPPC tracking sheet is used,  SPPC identification procedure is respected, Product and Process Design reviews performed with the participation of Experts, D-FMEA & P-FMEA reviews by Experts
  • Perform project audit previous each Project Kick Off, PMC, TSC committees for P1 projects and End of Phase for P2 projects
  • After Design Freeze milestone, ensure 4M matrix respect with regards product or process changes and ensure customer awareness and approval of changes in accordance with the 4M matrix
  • Coach PMs, PTMs and support staff in CIP, Product Group standards and  standards (P0, P1, P2 & P3)
  • Participate to TSC/PMC following CIP part 2 rules
  • QRQC rules are applied
  • Participate in the project QRQC and ensure project team use of QRQC material/rules
  • Coach project team in daily perfect QRQC practicing “Stop at first No”
  • Ensure that QRQCs is opened in the case of DV or PV test failures
  • Ensure that “Red alert” is issued when necessary
  • Manage Project Quality Team
  • Define and follow induction plan for new comers
  • Follow QPTM training plan
  • Evaluate workload of the team and define needs for budget
  • Participate to TSC/PMC following CIP part 2 rules

Requirements of Quality Manager:

  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience (Product Development or Production)
  • Minimum of 3 years in Quality (Warranty, APU) or in a Project function.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage projects and teams
  • Strong presentation, communication, group facilitation, conflict management, and training skills

Salary:

$109,000 per year
