Morales Group Adds CFO Eric Smith to Leadership Team

Eric Smith joins the team as Chief Financial Officer

INDIANAPOLIS — May 19, 2022 — Morales Group is proud to announce the addition of Eric Smith to the company’s leadership team.

Smith joins as Chief Financial Officer, leading Morales Group’s financial strategy to dovetail with operational excellence.

Smith brings a wealth of experience to Morales Group’s financial team from his previous positions at Cummins, Citigroup, and One Click Ventures. Most recently, he served as the Head of Business Design at High Alpha and Vice President of EDGE Mentoring. Smith is an established and effective leader with a drive for purposeful impact.

“Eric is a proven servant leader as well as a strategic CFO,” Morales Group CEO Seth Morales said. “He has experience scaling a company into the future without sacrificing culture.”

Originally from Ohio, Smith has put in the work to call the Hoosier State home, earning his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University and his MBA from Notre Dame. His work with Indiana-centered organizations showcases a track record of sustainable growth.

“For me, finance is rewarding in two ways: it intersects with all areas of the business so you gain deep knowledge of business operations and the impact that finance can have on the overall trajectory of a business,” Smith said. “There is never a shortage of challenges to overcome.”
