Our Journey
Key Milestones
Manuel Morales was a migrant tomato farmer from Mexico. He and his wife Josefina, parents to our founder, migrated to Indiana decades ago to embark on a better life. They had a passion for helping others. As they established themselves as one of the few Hispanic families in Indianapolis, they wanted to become a resource for those who left everything behind to pursue a better future. Their unwavering dedication to helping others laid the foundation for their son Tom’s vision.
Son of Manuel and Josefina, Tom wanted to continue their legacy providing pathways to brighter futures for those who want it. In 2003, Tom started Morales Group to bridge resources and opportunities to the Hispanic Community. His innovations in the staffing industry include a business model rooted in workforce development meant to advance associates, as well as the fierce promotion of diversity in the workplace.
The eldest son of Tom and Chris Morales, Seth started with Morales Group in a sales role in 2005 as employee #5 at that time. Though their team was small, he much like his father, always had a passion for making a lasting impact.
Regarded as one of the top executives in staffing and recruiting, Seth has served Morales Group in various sales, marketing, and operations roles before becoming President in 2016. Since 2005, Seth has helped scale the business from a few million dollars per year in sales to now over $100 million. He was later named CEO in 2020 and currently operates as President + CEO.
Outside of Morales Group, Seth serves on several boards including Indiana Latino Institute, St. Vincent’s Health System, he has been awarded ‘Diversity of Leadership’ by Diversity in Leadership program, mentored through non-profits like Project Stepping Stone, and continues to break barriers for Latinos in our communities.
