Temp-hire Clerical/Administrative Assistant in Whitestown, IN.

Responsibilities of Clerical/Administrative Assistant:

  • Greet visitors, issue and track badges in accordance to the FTZ policy and notify the appropriate contact
  • Creating keycard and id badges for full time and temporary employees
  • Answer and appropriately route all incoming switchboard calls
  • Keep DC phone list updated
  • Route incoming faxes and emails to employees * Keep front desk, lobby and meeting rooms organized, neat and presentable
  • Inventory, order and organize office supplies for office area
  • Assist Management, Supervisors, Leads and all other employees with projects and administrative tasks as needed
  • Oversee the weekly cleanings by working with Facilities Manager
  • Manage any incoming office mail and office deliveries (USPS, UPS, Fedex, etc.)
  • Complete day-to-day administrative functions such as organizing file systems, responding to the department as well as internal and external requests
  • Promotes safety and conducts themselves in accordance with all safety guidelines
  • Prepare correspondence such as letters, memorandums, and reports, as requested
  • Support the facilities team with ordering and management of the cleaning vendors
  • Provide other administrative and customer support as needed to the Leadership team
  • Actively support coordination of departmental meetings, training, and education
  • Goes on to the floor as needed to help audit or pick orders
  • Other duties as assigned
