HR Generalist - Morales Group

Morales Group Inc. Staffing is looking for a HR Generalist in Fishers, IN.

Summary of HR Generalist:

As our Human Resource Generalist, you will champion our day-to-day human resource functions, weekly payroll processing, and benefits maintenance duties. With a fast-growing team, the “people” side of things will be your key focus including personnel needs, recruiting, onboarding, training, and communication processes. Reporting to the CFO, you will be part of the Accounting team that is driving growth and excellence

Responsibilities of HR Generalist:

  • Hands-on management of all Human Resource functions with a heavy emphasis on processing new hires, onboarding, training, payroll processing and employee benefits management
  • Serve as the point person for employees’ payroll, benefits and Human Resources questions
  • Oversee vendor and other key relationships with respect to HR administration, benefits, and recruiting
  • Manage insurance claims and provide administrative assistance to Safety Director

Requirements of HR Generalist: 

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on HR manager/generalist experience in a small to mid-sized construction company
  • Construction software payroll experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or relevant business experience
  • SPHR or PHR certification preferred
  • Recruiting and hiring experience required
  • Strong working knowledge of HR processes, administration, handbooks, and compliance issues
  • Verbal and written communication skills that effectively relate to _all levels of the organization
  • Flexible and adaptable to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
