Methods Manufacturing Manager in Seymour, IN

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, directing, and managing all phases of manufacturing process design
  • Implementation of standardization
  • Tooling and equipment implementation
  • Driving cost down with the reduction of downtime
  • Eduction of process scrap
  • Improved reliability as a metric to continuously improve
  • Drive daily KPI’s in each APU
  • Ensure robust PFMEAfor assembly for each APU
  • Manage teams to meet deliverables and drive QRQC
  • Lead FDPR (FullDay Production Run)
  • Lead technical support for VIM closure
  • Assign goals and objectives for team members, drive and mentor production preparation process
  • Provide engineering support for equipment and manufacturing processes including molding, tooling, and assembly
  • Ensure the production of a high-quality product in a timely, cost-effective manner
  • Assist and advise on the solutions for manufacturing problems as they may occur
  • Lead/coordinate activities using team interaction to accomplish program applications
  • Drive the standard of equipment and fixtures with a continuous improvement mentality meeting
  • Drive and support productivities (-30 plan and D150)
  • Work with other disciplines within the company to match and update requirements so the business leads in the market
  • Train, support, and manage all Methods/Process and controls engineers to meet team deliverables
  • Leverage the resources of the Alliance partners to accomplish the goals set forth by the customers with efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Support daughter plants of the Seymour location

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related technical field

• 8 years of engineering manufacturing experience

• A minimum of at least3 years of supervision/management experience

• You have assembly equipment and fixtures, design experience and the debugging of it for production, understanding of GD&T and part design

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Demonstrated leadership skills in a team-oriented setting
