At Morales Group, we believe our greatest asset is our people. Our People + Culture Team has made great strides in improving our work environment. They are focused on creating an inclusive, supportive, and growth-oriented space for everyone. This past month, the team participated in events and initiatives to show our commitment to building better futures.

Gaining Insights at the SHRM Annual Conference

Recently, members of our People + Culture Team attended the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Annual Conference in Indianapolis. This event provided a wealth of valuable insights and strategies for improving workplace culture. A highlight of the conference was a keynote address by Jeff Henderson. He encouraged organizations to focus on being the best for the world, not just in the world. His message resonates with our mission at Morales Group.  These ideas inspire us to integrate them into our efforts to continue to create an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

Leading with Purpose: VP of People + Culture Monique Charlebois at the BEI Workforce Pilot Panel

We are proud to recognize our VP of People + Culture, Monique Charlebois, for representing Morales Group at the BEI Workforce Pilot Panel. Monique spoke about the important role HR leaders play in creating psychological safety. She emphasized that fostering diverse thought is key to organizational growth. Her participation showed our commitment to a culture that values diverse perspectives as essential to our success.

Partnering for Progress: Associate Director of Community Impact for People + Culture Cynthia Hobbs

These initiatives are not achieved in isolation. We are grateful to organizations like the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) and the Indy Chamber for partnering with us and providing platforms to share and learn from impactful equity projects. These projects, supported by comprehensive implementation plans, demonstrate the power of intentional diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies. Being part of this journey towards equity and inclusion reinforces our commitment to making a positive impact within our community and beyond.

Looking Ahead
