Culture Committee Hosts Tea Party in Honor of Women’s History Month
Celebrating Women’s History Month with Tea, Treats, and Inspiring Stories at Morales Group
March is not just any ordinary month at Morales Group. It’s a time to honor and celebrate the incredible women who contribute to our success every day. As an inclusive and diverse workplace, we take great pride in hiring diverse teammates. In fact, 73% of our internal team members are women, with 78% of them being women of color. To commemorate Women’s History Month, our Culture Committee organized a vibrant and uplifting Tea Party. Let’s take a sip of tea and dive into the highlights of this delightful gathering!
Setting the Stage
Our Culture Committee transformed our Manuel Morales conference room into a whimsical wonderland. This event boasted colorful decorations, elegant hats & tea sets, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. As our team members entered, they were greeted with warm smiles and a tea party complete with dainty snacks. The air was filled with excitement, anticipation, and the spirit of unity.
Welcoming New Faces
As a close-knit family, the Tea Party provided an excellent opportunity to welcome some of our newest teammates to our growing family. We believe that diversity fuels innovation, and we excitedly introduced these talented women teammates to our all-powerful women within our organization at our Tea Party. By embracing individuals from various backgrounds and cultures, we continue to cultivate an environment that encourages collaboration and creativity.
Snacks, Games, and Laughter Over Tea
What’s a tea party without delicious treats? Our guests indulged in a delectable spread of pastries, finger sandwiches, and, of course, a variety of aromatic teas. Our male volunteers graciously served and waited at each table. The clinking of teacups and the sound of laughter filled the room as everyone enjoyed the delightful refreshments and engaged in conversations that ranged from work-related discussions to personal stories.
Games added an extra dose of joy to the event, with our team members bonding over friendly competition. From trivia quizzes about influential women in history to guessing games that tested their knowledge of inspirational quotes, the atmosphere was buzzing with enthusiasm and camaraderie.
A Mother’s Touch
One of the most heartfelt moments of the Tea Party was when our team members took turns sharing stories about their most inspirational role models— their mothers. The room felt the love, respect, and admiration as teammates shared personal anecdotes. It was a powerful reminder of the strength and support that women provide to one another, both in and out of the workplace.
Filling Our Tea Cups
At Morales Group, we recognize the invaluable contributions of our diverse team members, especially the remarkable women who make up a significant majority. We believe that the celebration of women’s achievements and contributions should extend beyond a single month.
